I am a huge fan of this series and when the Metal Slug Anthology was released, I was very excited. Just imagine the cost of buying all of the games that are on this collection for the Neo-Geo! It would be thousands of dollars! The game originally was released for the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii and I actually have both of these games in my collection.

There were also versions released for the PSP and the PC, but from what I understand the PC version is missing a few features and the PSP clearly does not have local co-op. The games play fantastically well, these are run and gun style shooters and they are hard as nails, but they are fair. The Nintendo Wii version of Metal Slug Anthology is my personal favorite as it has the best controller configuration options.
